We follow Fenn’s journey through the backcountry of Virginia as he discovers what he has become and fights to salvage who he once was. But in order to do that, he must face the one whose wanton delusions have spread this evil disease.

In BEAST, after years of inertia, hiding away on the outskirts of humanity, Fenn is brought back to the world of men when a monster begins tormenting the Gévaudan region of France. He enlists others to help him find and kill the threat, but fails to anticipate how long and difficult the mission will become. As the hunters get closer to finding what the beast of Gévaudan is, the dreary landscape, the relentless weather, and unsatisfied longings unearth a long-dormant desire for flesh in Fenn. He must find a way to battle the monster without becoming one himself.

After returning to Virginia, the heroes find that one of their faithful friends is missing. MAN takes us through the cities of colonial America in search of not only their cohort, but the key to their un-becoming. Fenn must face an old threat who stands in the way of freedom, and finds that the most dangerous monster on earth is man.
